On the weekend of June 2-5, 2022, the Queen's Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated. In order to bring us all back together and celebrate the Queen's seven decades as head of state, a national bank holiday will be held over this magnificent weekend of events.
The Queen's Birthday Procession, a stunning RAF flyover, and a grand parade including horses, troops, and bands, which Her Majesty will view from the Buckingham Palace balcony, are just a few of the events scheduled for this weekend.
Street parties, park parties, school fun days, and other gatherings will take place across the University of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Several of the events will feature performances by live musicians. A big celebration is planned, and everyone is welcome to take part.
